Start Here
Nine small steps. About ten minutes. Do one, then the next. You cannot break anything, and nothing you tap in here will ever reach a customer by accident.
Three things, and you have all of them already:
iPhone or Android. Either one works the same way.
The one you gave us. That address is your username. There is nothing else to remember.
Not in the car. You'll be switching between the app and your email a couple of times.
iPhone: tap the blue App Store icon.
Android: tap the Play Store icon.
It's already on your phone. You don't need to install anything to get there.
Tap the search box at the top. Type LeadConnector — one word, no space. It's made by HighLevel. That's the right one.
The button says GET on iPhone and Install on Android. Tap it once and wait. Your phone may ask for your fingerprint, your face, or your Apple/Google password — that's your phone checking it's you, not us. It's free.
When the button turns into OPEN, tap it. You'll land on a screen with a box for an email address and a box for a password.
The same address you gave us. Type it carefully — no capital letters, no spaces before or after it.
You've never had one, so this is how you make your first one. Tap it.
Now leave the app and go to your email. There's a new message with a link in it.
Tap that link, and it lets you type a new password — twice, so it knows you meant it.
Write it down somewhere you'll find it. On paper is fine.
Type your email in the top box. Type your brand-new password in the bottom box. Tap Sign in.
To be sure it's really you, it sends a short code to your email. Go get it, come back,
and type the six numbers in.
Codes stop working after a few minutes. If yours has gone stale, just ask for a new one
and use that.
This is the one that actually matters. Notifications are how your phone buzzes the
second a lead texts you back. If you say no here, the app goes quiet and you find out
about leads hours later.
Tap Allow.
Two minutes. Do them before you put the phone down — it's how the app stops feeling strange.
Tap Contacts, add yourself with your own mobile number, then open yourself in Conversations and send a text. Watch it land on your own phone. Now you've seen the whole thing work, start to finish.
Tap Calendars. Look at this week. If something's wrong or missing, tell us today — not next month.
The next person you meet, add them right there on the spot. Ten seconds. That's the habit the whole system is built around.
Five things go wrong, and these are all five.
"I can't find the app."
Check the spelling: LeadConnector, one word. If several look similar, the right one is by HighLevel.
"It says there's no account with my email."
Then it's a different address than the one on your account, or there's a typo. Don't make a new account — tell us and we'll check which address we have.
"The password email never came."
Wait two minutes, then look in spam or junk. Still nothing? Tell us and we'll send it again.
"The 6-digit code says it's wrong."
Almost always it just expired. Ask for a new code and use the newest email — not an older one further up your inbox.
"I'm in, but it looks empty."
On day one it usually is. It fills up as leads arrive. Empty is not broken.
Tap anything. Open everything. Nothing in this app sends a message to a customer unless you type it and you press send. There is no button in here that ruins your day.
